Once you have completed the required training hours, you must contact the West Virginia State Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists so that you can test for your license. Once you’ve passed your test, they will issue your license. The training hours you will need to complete in order to test are:

– Cosmetology Instructor – You must train for and obtain your license and have five years of recent licensed salon work experience.
