You must attend a school that is approved by your state to provide training in the discipline you want to practice. Check with the school and the state board to be sure that your program of study will prepare you for any applicable state licensure.

Tennessee, like numerous other states, requires you successfully complete a minimum of 500 hours of training from an accredited school.  During your training, you will focus on three main, core class groups including massage techniques an professional development.  After completion, you will feel confident in your abilities in client assessment, devising treatment plans as well as marketing and business.
