Massage Therapy Licensing Requirements in New Mexico

The Massage Therapy Board of New Mexico has put forth an hour requirement that all students must complete before receiving a massage therapy license. Students must enroll in an accredited massage therapy school in New Mexico and obtain a total of 650 hours of instruction. After completing 650 hours of coursework and instruction, students may then register to take one of the national examinations offered. These exams are the MBLEx or the NCETMB.
