School Accreditation

The art of performing manicures and pedicures involves a variety of skills that can be learned through an educational program at a nail technician school or cosmetology school. Studying at such a school is part of the requirements for becoming a licensed manicurist in the state of Massachusetts. A few schools in Massachusetts where these requirements can be met are

– Mansfield Beauty Schools in the Boston area
– Jolie Health and Beauty Academy in Ludlow
– Marinello Schools of Beauty in Northampton.

There are several additional cosmetology schools that offer nail technician programs in the state.

Nail Technician Licensing Requirements in Massachusetts

In order to become a licensed nail technician in Massachusetts, one must first undergo at least one month of study that includes 100 hours of professional training at a beauty school that has been approved by the Massachusetts Board of Cosmetology.
