In a program in “The Sunflower State,” you’ll be taught how to use a laser correctly and safely. You’ll learn how to clean and maintain the laser properly. Courses covered during the course of your education include:

A person needs to be at least 17 years old in order to practice as an electrolysis technician. Additionally, a person needs to have graduated from high school or earned the equivalent of a high school diploma. If you hold a license to perform electrolysis, you must have passed a written exam and a practical one that was administered by your state’s board. Your education must be similar to that of the requirements created by the Kansas Board of Cosmetology. The Board requires a person to pass a written and a practical exam after an apprenticeship or schooling. Schooling must last for at least 500 clock hours, and the apprenticeship must last at least 1,000 hours. The school or the location of your apprenticeship must be licensed.
