Indiana has certain requirements that students must meet in order to receive an electrolysis license. According to the AEA, students must complete a 1,500 cosmetology course or 700-hour esthetics course. They must then take a written and practical exam in order to apply for an electrologist license in the state. Students must have completed high school and be at least 18 years old to receive a license.
