Students will also need to successfully pass the state’s cosmetology exams after graduation from a cosmetology program in the state. There is a requirement that students renew their licenses every year in Arizona. Students will need to pay a fee of $30 in order to renew their licenses in Arizona. There is no requirement that students obtain continuing education credits to move forward in renewing a license in Arizona.
