The 1,200-hour cosmetology program at the American Institute of Beauty (AIB) strives to teach students everything they need to know for the state exam and a successful future career. The program is offered on both a full and part-time basis.

A range of funding programs is accepted, including financial aid, Veteran's Training, Florida Prepaid, and several scholarships.

Several other programs are also available, including barbering, skincare, and nail technology.

Master Barber Program

Train to become a State Licensed Professional Barber in as little as 9 months. The Master Barber program at St. Petersburg Barber School is a clock hour based program of 1200 hours. At AIB St. Petersburg Barber Training school you will learn and develop skills from our dedicated and highly educated real Barber Instructors that have over 40 years of experience to teach our students the skills they need to know. Business management classes are incorporated into the curriculum to assist you in navigating through the fundamentals of running or owning your own Barbershop/Salon in today's diverse economic environment.

At our St. Petersburg Barber Training School we have flexible schedules. We offer Day and Evening programs, Financial Aid, to those who qualify. We are VA approved, and offer a Lifetime Job Placement Assistance program.
