Florida Esthetician License Requirements
Since every state has its own licensing requirements, you may want to learn about earning a skin care license in Florida if you plan on working in this state. Upon completing your education, you need to submit proof of your training to the Florida Board of Cosmetology, which is part of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Once your education has been verified, you can register to take your FL esthetician license exam.
Be ready to meet the following esthetician licensing standards and pay the fees listed here:
• $50 testing fee
• $40 registration fee

It is extremely important to follow these licensing standards exactly. If you do not, you may suffer a delay in getting your license. These requirements were originally created to standardize the type of training given to estheticians and ensure that beauty professionals all over the state have the same set of skills. This makes it easier for you to seek employment and demonstrate your skills to potential clients.
