How to Get a Nail Tech License Renewed in Virginia
After earning a license for nail technician, Virginia applicants are required to maintain their license for the duration of their career. The Virginia Board for Barbers and Cosmetology requires you to renew your license every two years. Documents must be submitted by the last day of the month in which you got your original license.
The current renewal fee is $105. Like many other states, Virginia does not have any continuing education requirements for nail technicians.
